The Australian Translational Breast and Prostate Cancer Research Symposium 2018 is a one of a kind event in the Australian research meeting calendar. Its objective is to bring together the Australian breast and prostate cancer research community, spanning basic researchers and clinicians, for two days of updates in cutting edge translational breast and prostate cancer research.

The plenary speakers for the 2018 meeting are Myles Brown, an opinion leader in prostate and breast cancer research, and Judy Garber, a leader in cancer genetics and past president of the AACR, both from the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School. We have also assembled a national faculty of key leaders in breast and prostate cancer research.

The key themes for the 2018 meeting are:

  1. Genetics and Epigenetics of Prostate and Breast Cancer
  2. Steroid hormone receptor directed therapy
  3. Models and Technologies in prostate and breast cancer research
  4. Novel biomarkers and targeted therapies

This meeting is free to attend, through the generous sponsorship from Pharma and Estee Lauder. We encourage researchers and clinicians of all stages of their careers to join us.
